This Saturday, Stamp Out Hunger celebrates its 20th year!
Spring cleaning is a great way to get organized, why not start with your pantry and clean for a good cause!
Stamp Out Hunger is a collective initiative by the National Association of Letter Carriers to help food banks in your community.
Simply leave a bag of non-perishable food next to your mailbox on Saturday, and your mail carrier will pick it up when your mail is delivered.
The food will benefit a local food pantry or food bank in your area!
Stamp Out Hunger recommends donating items like canned meats, fish, soup, vegetables; bottled juice, pasta, cereal and rice that do not require refrigeration.
They ask that you not include items that have expired or are in glass containers.
There is no donation to small!
